Durable Construction: Made from 3/16″ CNC cut steel plate, this skid plate offers robust protection for your fuel tank, preventing damage from rocks, debris, and other off-road obstacles.
Easy Installation: The skid plate features a 100% bolt-on design, making installation straightforward with no need for modifications. All necessary mounting hardware is included, ensuring a secure and easy setup.
Enhanced Protection: The skid mounts to the frame at both the front and rear, providing increased strength and preventing the collapse of the fuel tank under impact. The solid plate bottom design offers comprehensive coverage and maximum protection.
Compatibility: Please note that this skid plate does NOT fit double cab long bed models. It is specifically designed to fit the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma models, excluding the mentioned configuration.
Weight and Finish: The skid plate weighs approximately 53 lbs and ships in bare steel. To prevent rust and corrosion, it is recommended to paint or powder coat the skid plate before installation, as a powder coat finish is not available from C4 Fabrication.
